Lemon hard sauce (Dan Gill)

1 cup softened butter

3 cups confectioners sugar

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

3 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions

Cream butter, add sugar gradually, then vanilla, drop-by-drop, and slowly mix in lemon juice.
